Outstanding Targets

Please find below the outstanding targets for the release of Mira Groupware which we are currently working on: version 0.2.

The features listed below remain to be implemented; each individual target is eliminated as soon as it is completed.

Client

Chat Widget: Receive messages stored in queue on Server while offline
Connections: Replace the placeholder after logging in to a Server with a functional post-login screen
Documentation: Doxygen-generated documentation from JavaDoc comments in the code
Message Center: Simple, Inbox / Outbox (pending delivery to recipient) / Sent (delivered to recipient) (Shilpa)
Network: Use Google Protocol Buffers (Shilpa)
Readme: Update all the Readme files (AUTHORS/ChangeLog/INSTALL/NEWS/README)
Restructuring: Tidy up code, eliminate workarounds (e.g. object sharing on Windows)
Supported OSs: Linux, Mac OS X, Windows
Utilities: Notes Utility (Tijoy)
Utility Caching: Cache all Utility data to allow for offline viewing
Utility Job Queuing: Queue Utility jobs for execution upon reconnection

Documentation: Doxygen-generated documentation from JavaDoc comments in the code
Logging: Provide a configurable logging system for all events (Anand)
Network: Queue Chat messages for offline users and deliver them when users return online
Network: Use Google Protocol Buffers (Shilpa)
Readme: Update all the Readme files (AUTHORS/ChangeLog/CREDITS/INSTALL/LICENSE.txt/NEWS/README/TODO)
Restructuring: Tidy up code, eliminate workarounds (e.g. object sharing on Windows)
